In 1967, Dr. D. James Kennedy began teaching a small group of pastors at Fort Lauderdale, Florida an effective, non confrontational way to share and teach evangelism – so began Evangelism Explosion (EE). Today, EE has a presence in all 212 nations in the world and offers Adult, Senior, Youth, Deaf, Kid's, and Prison EE training; teaching clergy and laypersons a time tested, proven way to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Although Evangelism isn’t about numbers, it is reported that over 5 million people worldwide have expressed a profession of faith in Christ since EE began. Yet, there is much to be done, for there are many around the world, and surprisingly even here in the U.S., who have never heard of Jesus Christ and His free gift of Eternal Life (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Desert Springs Community Church is committed to evangelism; “To Evangelize the lost, to Establish believers in the faith, to Equip and Impassion people for ministry – doing all Excellence for our Lord Jesus Christ”. One of the ways Desert Springs fulfills this mission is by offering spring and fall EE training semesters. EE is curriculum based with classroom and O.J.T. (On The Job Training). Each semester, experienced trainers encourage trainees with a goal of training them to train others. By the leading of the Holy Spirit many have confidently brought husbands, wives, children, relatives, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, and even strangers to the Lord Jesus.

The fall EE SEMESTER begins on Saturday August 22^nd with a Share Your Faith Workshop (9 am to 3:30 pm) and then continues each Tuesday starting Tuesday August 25^th (6:30 pm to 8:00 pm) for 8 consecutive weeks.
