Bible Study
Bible study is a great way to grow, fellowship and get connected with other women in the church body. Join together with other women that are looking for the same things you are. It’s a time to make new friends that you can pray with, grow and learn with, and even laugh with! We invite you to find a study and get involved!

Tuesday Morning Study
We are just finishing up our wonderful time of studying Beth Moore’s James: Mercy Triumphs. We are going to begin our elective studies on March 13th. There will be 4 studies to choose from:
- Brave by Angela Thomas. Join us as we get to the heart of what women are really thinking and feeling. We will learn how to be brave in the face of the struggles we face through the power of God’s Word.
This group will be led by Tami Engram. The cost of this study is $15.
- Covenant by Kay Arthur. The idea of Covenant–God’s Enduring Promise–is the key to understanding our relationship with God. Explore God’s initiatives with humanity by studying His covenants throughout history. Through the process of inductive Bible study, learn what it means to live in a covenant relationship with God.
This group will be led by Erica Wiggenhorn. The cost of this study is $18.
- The Power of Praying for Your Adult Children by Stormie Omartian. Learn how to lift up your adult children as they deal with different struggles, trials and phases of life. Read stories from other parents and gain insight from their experiences. Most importantly, pray together as a group of mothers who want God’s best for their children.
This group will be led by Jeanette Harris. The cost of this study is $18.
- Gripped by the Greatness of God by James MacDonald. When was the last time you were truly gripped by God’s greatness? In this walk through some key point in Isaiah, learn how to understand God better and how you can be more likely to choose His will over your own. Learn from the author’s own experiences how God repeatedly proves Himself as the Great I Am.
This group will be led by Angela Riddle. The cost of this study is $15.
Tuesday Morning MoM’s Group
Our MoM’s (Moms on a Mission) Group is finishing up Don’t Make Me Count to Three! by Ginger Plowman in the next week or two. On March 13th we are going to begin James: Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore. This 7 week study on the book of James was written by Jesus’s brother, who started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple!
This study is unique in that it offers a 5 tiered approach that has never been offered before. Choose from the following options to best fit your personal needs:
- Level 1: Watch the video sessions only.
- Level 2: Watch the video sessions and do the homework each week.
- Level 3: Watch the video sessions, do the homework each week, and, as you study, write out the entire Book of James.
- Level 4: Watch the video sessions, do the homework each week, write out the Book of James, and complete the “What could I do to go deeper?” section each week. This section is written in collaboration with Beth’s daughter Melissa.
- Level 5: Watch the video sessions, do the homework each week, write out the Book of James, complete the “What could I do to go deeper?” section each week, and memorize the entire Book of James.
The cost of this study is $15.
This group is open to all Moms, and is specifically geared toward mothers with small children (infants to preschool age). The MoM’s Group meets during the Tuesday morning Bible study time in Room 108.
Sunday Evening Oasis
Our Sunday evening Oasis group is studying Beth Moore’s Daniel. This is a faith-building study of prophecy that will assist us in learning to live with integrity in today’s self-absorbed society. The first six chapters deal with Daniel’s life as he faced the kind of pressures and temptations Christians encounter today. The second portion of six chapters explores thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Jesus Christ.
